Product Design and Development Engineer

Reptron Engineering Services, a division of Reptron Electronics, is growing and needs your design engineering experience. Your main duties will be providing design services to Reptron�s customers for product development and new product introduction into an RMS facility. Typical products under development are targeted for industrial controls, medical devices/monitors, high end consumer electronics, LCD display products and general applications using 32 bit embedded processors. Candidates should have the following qualifications and experience: BSEE/MSEE in Electrical Engineering 3-7 years related experience in product design with an OEM or EMS provider and have demonstrated knowledge in electronic manufacturing processes and equipment as it applies to product design requirements ELECTRONIC DESIGN BACKGROUND 8/16 bit microcontroller design 32 bit embedded processor design use of embedded OS such as WinCE, Linux, VXWorks. Analog design such as video, power supplies, motor controls, power switching Knowledge of RF modules and RF applications SOFTWARE BACKGROUND Assembly code development C, C++ coding for non OS and OS based embedded applications PROJECT MANAGEMENT Oversee or supervise PCB Layout activity for the hardware design High speed digital design/layout techniques and applications Design experience for EMI compliance and certification testing Detail orientated project management for cost, schedule and adherence to ISO processes Interested and qualified candidates please email your resumes to recruiting@reptron.com or fax to 813.814.5293 Reptron is an Equal Opportunity Employer
