Product Engineers

Product Engineer Responsibilities: � Responsible for all manufacturing processes, materials, and tooling to ensure that products are assembled to customer expectations � Provide primary customer contact for New Product Introduction (NPI) of printed circuit board assemblies and system integration products � Takes full manufacturing responsibility, leading products through prototype, pilot and production builds � Performs Design for Manufacturability and works with Test Engineering on Design for Testability � Assists in developing project proposals and associated cost estimates � Develops in-depth knowledge of customer�s products as required to support product�s transitional activity Skills and Essential Functions: � Will demonstrate ownership, excellent problem solving skills, and creativity in developing sound technical solutions to business unit problems � Will possess good written and oral communication skills as well as effective presentation skills � Will demonstrate effective interpersonal skills with co-worker and customers, and the ability to work individually or in teams Education and Training Requirements: Must have one of the following: � A 4-year college degree with 3+ years engineering or operations management experience in printed circuit board and/or systems integration assembly processes, or � A 4-year Engineering degree Medical product system integration and/or electromechanical design, assembly and test experience preferred.
