Description: Manage functions of purchasing, receiving and shipping of all materials, components and finished goods inventory. Will supervise eight (8) total. Experience in internet commerce, i.e., web-enabled purchasing, ISO 9001:2000 and KANBAN preferred. Maintain inventory location accuracy and logical inventory organization. Develop supplier base consistent with meeting cost, quality and on-time delivery requirements. Negotiate blanket pricing for materials and components as needed. Conduct audits of suppliers and provide feedback to customers on performance; eliminate suppliers who are not meeting required standards. Identify and make recommendations on eliminating high cost, obsolete or long lead time items. Develop accurate and competitive material prices for customer quotations, including impact of minimum quantity buys. Meet budgets for all related departments. Serve as key member of company's material review board (MRB). Guide team in developing workable solutions to eliminate failures related to material based on root cause analysis. Actively manage function to achieve required inventory turnover goals. Minimum 8 years experience, including supervision, in materials function in electronics business. Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
