Advanced Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description:
Lutron currently has an exciting new position as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer. The focus of this position is to lead our Printed Circuit Assembly (PCA) Technology development projects.
The responsibilities of this position include corporate technical leadership for PCA core competency, driving circuit miniaturization and other engineering PCA developmental project requirements, and steering engineering designs at the conceptual phase to use the best practices possible. Also assisting plants in technology and capacity training, developing engineering and manufacturing PCA training programs, and support our Advanced Manufacturing Research Center engineering runs with high level technical input.
Job Requirements:
In order to qualify for this position you must have a BSME, BSEE, and a minimum of five years experience in the hands on and theoretical understanding of PCA process technology, and PCA design for manufacturing. Knowledge of SMT, BGA, CSP, through-hole, and soldering processes are also required. You must have a proven record of success initiating and managing technology development projects successfully. In addition, excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills are essential to qualify for this position.

Due to our ongoing growth and the technological complexity of our new products we have a need for an additional Product Engineer. In this highly visible position you will lead and drive cross-functional teams, introducing new products and product extensions into a high volume integrated manufacturing operation. You will provide technical assistance in meeting design requirements and reduce costs through increasing the manufacturability of products.
