Your Qualifications

To be a good fit for the role of automotive service technician, you will have:

• Automotive technical training
  • Certified technician position requirements range from 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician to 7+ years' experience as a manufacturer-certified dealership technician
  • Non-certified positions require mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn to 1-2 years of experience as an automotive technician
• General mechanical skills, manual dexterity and ability to operate power and hand tools, and other types of machinery
• Knowledge of the automotive repair life cycle
• Attention to detail; organization and follow-up skills
• Your own set of tools (non-certified technicians typically are not required to have tools)
• Valid in-state driver’s license, and acceptable, safe driving record
• Reached the age or 18 or older

Your attention to detail will make you a valuable asset to the team as you ensure repairs are completed on time and deliver top-notch work to delight our customers. In this role, you’ll interact daily with other team members including service advisors, other technicians, parts associates, cashiers, sales associates, and managers.
