The IPC/WHMA-A-620 Instructor Training is designed to teach and certify that others can learn discrimination skills; that is, to improve accuracy of discriminating between an acceptable or not acceptable cable or wire harness assembly per the IPC/WHMA-A-620 document. This is a 4-day, lecture course that teaches students the accept/reject criteria in the IPC-A-620, for all three classes of cable and wire harness assembly. Additional hands-on instruction in wire and cable assembly are not included but can be added to the coursework. This program will also teach potential instructors on the accept/reject criteria and how to teach same to enhance their ability to consistently and correctly apply the discrimination criteria.
