Design for manufacture (DFM) procedures should be followed if you are making one or one thousand boards. Changing footprints, solder mask apertures, track widths can be done without compromising product reliability or cost and it will improve yield. This SMART Group Ireland workshop is an ideal opportunity to bring any troublesome design and process issues for discussion. The workshop is sponsored by Enterprise Ireland.

Who should attend Design for Manufacture & Assembly Workshop?If you are involved in PCB design or procurement, SMT assembly as a Line Manager, Process Engineer or QA then this workshop will add real benefit to your objectives to improve end of line defect levels. This is particularly true if you are subcontracting your products for assembly. It will allow you to take the steps required to put in place the correct inspection tools to analyse the process and inspection procedures for on or offshore manufacture. Workshop starts at 10.00am with coffee and table top exhibition from 9:30 am. The event will conclude by 4.00pm |
