Hello every one, I will be very thank full to all who are using CP6 fuji machine if they can spare some time for me & give some important information about the machine.

1.What is the actual CPH you are getting during production. 2. What is rejection rate for the 0603 components. 3. What are major breakdown in this machine. 4.What consumbales are required. ( For running cost calculation). 5. How long the nozel life is? 6. What is the change over time of 8mm feeder during production. 7. How user freindly its software for programming & operation.

Hi,

There are a few different types of CP6 which I think the main differences are on the board loading side of things.

To briefly answer your questions:

1.What is the actual CPH you are getting during production.

There are a lot of variables to consider to get your CPH. Component types/placement speed /feeder setup etc. Anywhere between 20-30k per hour.

2. What is rejection rate for the 0603 components. Should be zero.

3. What are major breakdown in this machine.

These machines can take a lot of abuse and dont need to much heavy maintenance- we carry out daily and monthly maintenace.

4.What consumbales are required. ( For running cost calculation). Nozzles/Feeder spares...nozzle valves

5. How long the nozel life is?

Again this depends on what sizes and how often you use them.

6. What is the change over time of 8mm feeder during production. How good is your machine operator?- avg. 1-2minutes but these can be pre-prepped ready to go on the machine when required, there is also a sensor which will highlight feeders that will need to be changed.

7. How user freindly its software for programming & operation.

Again there are quite a few packages out there, we have recently upgraded from the Oldest (MCS) to the latest (Flexa). I am a very happier Engineer since ! (you can compare to how man felt when he invented the wheel" )

Hope this helps,

aj

CPH - 17000 to 40000 depending on compoent density & type. Typically 28K.

0603 rejection rate - negligible.

Major breakdowns - none. However preventative maintenance is essential. There are 2 different types of shafts on machines, and some people won't touch the old ones. We have both and no noticible difference in performance or life (yet).

Consumables: Nozzles (Metro comp work fine) & grease!

Nozzle life: dependant on how hard you drive your machine & component mix. (We are not as good as we should be on tracking this!)

Feeder changeover time: Instantaneous on Changeover, approx 10 mins per bank including verification for preloads, around 2 mins per feeder for a fresh load.

User friendly software: Co-ordinates, size & rotation in MCS30 - easy but time consuming, Flexa & a good conversoin program - as AJ says, like a dream.

Hope that helps,

Rob.

CPH - we able to acheive max. 32k on few of our product. 0603 rejection - on big lot production lot max 0.15%. Maint - preventive we do on once in 2 month. Consumable - mostly nozzles, feeder top leaf, grease. programming - we use MCS & it is time consuming, so far no experience on flexa etc. ajay
