Solder/Desolder Machines - Want recommendation for good machine. | 12 January, 1998

We are looking for a good solder/desolder machine for state-of-the-art pcb rework. A step up from the Pace/OK Industries is the level I am researching. The application is a nice R&D Lab on state-of-the art PCBs. Anybody who has suggestions or recommendations - I would love to hear from you. Thanks!

You didn'tmention what types of parts though! Obviously the part type and size makes a big difference. Let me know. Look no further; Metcal has come out with a new desolder/soldering station that we recently demo'ed. Our operators are about as picky as they come and they all loved this unit. The vacuum pump is internal and it is much improved over earlier proto's and best of all the price is reasonable. Call your local sales rep. for a demo. best of all
