I'm looking at some used AOI machines. There's a lot of yestech machines that are cheap and pretty new, less than 5 years old. My worry is the brand doesn't seem to exist any more. Can you still get parts for these? Is the 3D stuff good with them? I'm mostly looking to detect lifted leads.

Nordson is extremely difficult to work with. Whatever the reasons may be, they are very latent to respond to request if they even respond at all.

Terrible customer service.

Ahh, so cyberoptics is out too now? I've got a used Koh Young SPI and I'm not sure if the newer software is less horrific but it hasn't made me enthusiastic about their AOI options... once I get it working I might grow to like it though. Mirtec then?
