Problem with MPM ACCUFLEX | 5 March, 2024

Hi everyone!

We have a difficulty with the camera, the light on it is not activating when it starts to read the views either PCB or ST.

We made a bridge directly a 12v signal to each bulb and they turn on and give image on the MPM.

Has anyone had this same failure? Where can we check for a failed component?

Does anyone have the wiring diagrams for this machine to share?

I am looking for any help I can get, I am in the middle of a bidding process and have not been able to fix this fault.

My answer is based on your comment that you have an image. It's easy to check the camera for potentially good vision without lighting, just shine a flashlight into the upper cube, if you see something then the camera probably works. FYI the vision lighting circuit is 24vdc, different from all the older generation MPM's with 12vdc. Bulbs are different also.

Issue could be anywhere it the circuit from the Align Card (X4) to the green wired cable in the vision probe assembly (camera box). The most common issue with this error is the black ribbon cable in the Vision X gantry IGUS track. Part number 1007867. Second would be the green wired cable in the vision probe, part number 1007463. If you need the parts I would suggest calling PPM in NH.

On of connector not seat properly. On your photo (114844) it seems to be an D-Sub connector, on the left side. If you are there, you can disconnect and measure the is something (voltage, signal, etc) using your schametic drawing to find out what it would be there.
