Hello all! We are trying to program a new board on our machine, but keep getting an error of 'Board did not reach stopper'. The board is reaching the stopper, sensors are seeing the board, I'm lost as to what it could be. Loaded up a similar board and it runs just fine. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you! Ryan

Problem solved...Sensor would see the board at the stop, but when it clamped in the BUT, the sensor didn't see it anymore. Board is a matte finish so we're putting a sticker on the bottom so it sees it better.

We often have to put a small Post-it note on the corner of a board due to the color or a route out area hitting the sensor.

there is an ajustment on the sensor itself. You may be able to adjust it so that it "sees" the board in the UP position, since it sees it as it travels in.

Oh, I didn't realize they were adjustable gain...I'm pretty new to PCB's and the machines. I'll take a look again at the sensor. Thank you!

It's a small screw adjustment. Ours is toward the input side. You can grab one of your boards, manually lock it in, and adjust until the light changes.

I will give it a try here in a bit, working on some part changes.

Sophy,

Thank you for the response, but we've got it figured out. The sensor was just low enough that it would see the board as it came in, but once it clamped in the BUT it would lose it. I simply raised the sensor up roughly 1/16" and it has been working well since. Thank you!
