If you could provide machine type and also clarify what you mean when you say "improperly leveled" that might be helpful.

Do you mean the right process wasn't followed during leveling, or do you mean that the machine isn't level after the process was completed?

First of all, you would have boards frequently being stuck in between inline machines. In order for the best inline setup, all the machines should be properly leveled to have smooth transport from start to finish.
