Are you having any issues with other ERJ series resistors from Panasonic?
Any other 2010 resistors?
There is, very likely, something specific to this part/package/packaging that is causing your problems.
Things to check: -Identify where the issue is occurring - Slow down the pick/travel/place process, and see where you're having the problem. Is it during pick (centered on the pocket?), is it during center/rotate? is it during head travel? is it during placement? -Check the feeder you have the part in, and insure that there is nothing impeding the pick process. Is the opening large enough for a 2010, if you put it in another feeder does it work better? -Insure that the pick position is centered. Slow things down, watch the pick. -Check package height, pick wait time, travel time, centering phases for accuracy. -Is verify vacuum before pick turned on? (can't remember the actual check...but, should be in either the part or package record).
Thing to try to help narrow it down: -Put some tape on the y-wagon, and try to pick out of there. If this works out, the problem is most likely mechanical at the feeder/magazine level, and not a package/part dimensional problem in the database. -Insure that the pick location is centered on the pocket. -Insure that the cover tape is being accurately pulled back. -Insure that your feeder/magazine pitch is advancing the part to the next pocket correctly. -Test centering off of the y-wagon to eliminate centering dimensional issues. -Update/create a new package with measured dimensional values.
