Agilis Feeders Exposed Parts Upon Removal from Feeder?

Dave,

I think he means that when the plough on the feeder peels back the tape, it exposes a few extra components that are yet to be picked. As a result when he is finished with the reel there are some components in pockets that are not required but not in a sealed state due to already being ploughed. He wants a tool to reseal these parts.

For me if they are just cheap resistors they are not worth sealing back up, only higher value parts or reels with critical stock quantities should be treated with such care in reality.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

When I'm Tearing down a Job, And removing the tape and reel from Agilis Feeder. Their is a gap of at least 10-12 Parts. Unpicked parts, When the knife on the feeder spreads the tape aside. and leaves this gap of feel falling parts.

Yeah response to the Plastic Bags, I take the expensive parts and bag and tag them. But when I do this its considered Scrap:( When I return to stock room.But I think at that point I can allways Handplace them. And I do, I try to use all parts cause I don't wanna help with the scrap rate going up. Since Just today I was told my Rate has decreased:)

I set up a job and double check allways my step Lenghts.As I have Had part set to step for 12mm and only needed 4mm what a mess that was:( When Loading the Agilis Feeders their is a Knife that splits the tape back on on side and leaves a gap now Their is 10-12 exposed parts that are stemming from Just loading the feeder.Nothing to do when Machine is in Operation. I was wondering if someone had this problem and found a way (To save these parts)I was thinking Sealing them up with a heat sealer of some sort? But trying to find one is like looking for a diamond in haystack.
