Do you have a stencil wipe step after every six boards? If so, the wipe either automatic or manual needs to be optimized. Either less solvent or more time for the solvent to evaporate off.

Ah, yes...the solvents. I'll bet with SS machines vs. WS machines there is way less dwell time at preheat so you don't evap enough solvents. Do any of these SS machines use force-convection preheats or are they and IR type?

Hi, No clean mean is no need to clean. Of couse if you usin incompatibility solvent to clean, the white residue will appear. If cleaning is needed, source the suitable solvent and this always suggested by your solder paste supplier. regards

I would try it dry first, we have never used solvents in our SPM, AP-20 or UP2000. Wipe every 4 to 10 boards. Normally dont have to wipe when using epxoy.

I know Micro Care made a unit that removed conformal coating with compressed air and a solvent. But they no longer make it. Does anyone have the 2000 version of this unit and may want to sell it or know of another compressed air solvent solution, p
