Cleanning no clean residu

By definition, no clean solder can be not-cleaned. The solder/flux are formulated to result in low ionic-contamination, hence, no cleaning. I have, however, always had at least one customer that requests their no-clean solder get cleaned. No-clean

Ionic Contamination Tester Concentration Monitoring

Electronics Forum | Thu Sep 11 18:44:31 EDT 2008 | smt_guy

We have an Ionic Contamination Testing system but short of having a monitoring record for the chemical concentration. What we have is a monthly maintenance check of the concentration and annual check and calibration of the chemicals. We seldom use th

Davef, Sorry for the late response. I was trying to gather more info. The group with low ionic contamination levels came from one of our other facilities. We want to outsource more of our product due to increasing demand. Both groups use the same

Dave, To tell you the truth, I couldn't tell you. I came into this company with the system installed. When the resistivity is depleted, I call Culligan. It may only be an in-line cartridge filter that they change. We've noted a change in water q
