NanoSlic™ Gold Stencils Description:

NanoSlic™ Gold is our top of the line spray on coating applied to our UltraSlic™ solder paste stencil, which gives previously unseen performance benefits in transfer efficiency. The NanoSlic™ Gold coating also gives the benefits of improved under-stencil cleaning and a reduction in solder paste bridging.

NanoSlic™ Gold stencils are the most advanced solder paste stencils available today. Building on the proven benefits of the UltraSlic™ stencils, advanced chemistry has been developed to impart a highly Hydrophobic and Oleophobic surface to the apertures and underside of the stencil. This non-stick surface resists solder paste buildup, significantly reducing the frequency of cleaning cycles. The Nano coating is permanently bonded to and conforms to aperture walls regardless of size or geometry. The NanoSlic™ Gold stencils improve paste release, enabling high yield printing at low SARs (surface area ratios) 0.60 and below. NanoSlic™ Gold has a robust, abrasion resistant surface that stands up to repeated cleaning.

The NanoSlic™ Gold coating is tough and durable. Under normal printing conditions, the coatings will provide benefits for the life of the stencil. There are no issues with contamination or long term reliability of the printed circuit board. The NanoSlic™ Gold coating is non-ionic, not conductive, and chemically inert.

Availability:

The NanoSlic™ Gold Stencil is available through FCT Assembly - Fine Line Stencil division, which includes your custom stencil design with our permanent Nano Coating.

The following stencil cleaners have been tested and found to be compatible with the NanoSlic™ Gold coating.

The following cleaners are not recommended for use with NanoSlic™:
