Counterfeit Components Workshop - Online Program

In cooperation and partnership with IDEA, this course provides a basic introduction to Counterfeit Mitigation as well as an introduction to IDEA-STD-1010, including training in methods for the visual detection of counterfeit and substandard characteristics, through a hands-on workshop. The training environment provides a unique opportunity to examine real components with live, on-site microscopic magnification to obtain experience in the visual inspection techniques of IDEA-STD-1010 and learn how to detect counterfeit components firsthand.

*About IDEA-ICE-3000 Professional Inspector Certification

This program is open to all participates, however; successful completion of this training does not guarantee eligibility for the IDEA-ICE-3000 Exam. For this to occur candidates must be employees of an OEM, CM, EMS Provider, or an IDEA General Member.
