SiMS Invests in JUKI's FX-3 High-Speed Chip Shooter

May 26, 2009

Solothurn, Switzerland May 2009 - JUKI, a world-leading provider of automated assembly products and systems, announces SiMS' investment in the FX-3, Juki's newest high-speed chip shooter.

SiMS is a Polish company involved in the design and production of devices for its clients, mainly in the automotive sector. The company's production requirements range from individual items to high-volume runs.

SiMS' existing KE-2060R machine from JUKI had worked flawlessly, and the operation and programming was optimal for both small- and large-volume production runs. Because of this, the company chose to invest in the FX3 machine the fastest high-speed chip shooter offered by JUKI.

Following installation and two days of training, the line was launched at full capacity. Once again the choice proved correct. The HLC line software purchased with the machine facilitates optimal management of both the JUKI machines. Once again, JUKI has proved that it is the market leader for pick-and-place machinery, said Mr. Sławomir Stusiński, Owner of SiMS.

As a result of successfully winning a large new contract, SiMS needed to significantly increase both the capacity and operating efficiency of its existing SMT line, and chose JUKI to meet its operating needs.
