Speedline Technologies name change

Apr 11, 2002

Cookson Electronics, the global manufacturer of electronic assembly materials, equipment and PWB materials and chemistry, is repositioning itself to better define its organization to customers, shareholders, employees and vendors.

"Recognition of Cookson Electronics' capabilities as a full line supplier of cost effective electronics assembly solutions is critical to our customers, employees, and shareholders. The new organization will simplify the presentation of the company to these important constituents" stated Ray Sharpe, President and CEO of Cookson Electronics.

The businesses formerly known as Speedline Technologies, Alpha Fry Technologies, and Polyclad Technologies will now be known as Cookson Electronics Equipment Group, Cookson Electronics Assembly Materials Group and Cookson Electronics PWB Materials & Chemistry Group, respectively.

Sharpe went on to say, "It is of critical importance that our customers view us as their preferred supplier of high value products and services across our broad offerings in the electronics assembly market. Our ability as one company to deliver integrated solutions across the spectrum of our offerings makes us uniquely qualified to solve the challenges facing our customers and provide them with lowest cost of ownership."

Going forward, all aspects of our business communications, including stationery, signage and websites, will reflect these changes. The brands and legal business entities will remain in place to facilitate commercial activities.
