Blackfox is now open for remote online and in-person training with a thorough plan to keep students and employees safe

Blackfox is opening its facilities to in-person training for the electronics manufacturing industry with a thorough and documented safety plan for all.  While the health and safety of all our employees and customers is the highest priority during the COVID-19 crisis and as we continue to operate during these rapidly evolving and uncertain times, the health and safety of those entering our facilities continues to be a top priority.

IPC Certification Extensions:

IPC is offering complimentary 30-day extensions for all CIT hands-on certifications that expire in May 2020. IPC will not be offering any additional extensions for certifications that can be renewed through remote proctoring. 

CIS students that are certified in programs expiring in May 2020 with optional workmanship modules may request a 60-day extension of these modules after they have renewed the mandatory module through either remote or in-person testing.  The student must then complete the optional workmanship modules in-person within the 60 days.

CIS and CIT students need to request an extension to an expiring certification through the IPC Certification Help Desk. The current policy still applies to the certification expiration date for all certifications that were obtained by the temporary extension.

Remote IPC Training & Testing Option:

If preferred, Blackfox is offering online IPC training and certification in either English or Spanish from the comfort of your home or office. The following lecture-based classes are offered remotely for CIS, CSE and CIT certification:
