Kurtz Ersa North America, a leading supplier of electronics production equipment, is pleased to announce that it will exhibit with Comtree at EPTECH Edmonton, scheduled to take place Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the Doubletree by Hilton in Edmonton, AB. EPTECH Edmonton is one of several regional professional electronics shows produced in major high-technology centers across Canada. It is the only series of coast-to-coast national electronics shows in Canada.

Ersa is one of the world’s largest suppliers for rework, inspection and hand soldering equipment. For more than 15 years, thousands of users worldwide have benefited from Ersa´s patented IR rework technology. In addition to offering outstanding cost/price ratio, Ersa systems have established their position in the market because they continue to deliver the best results on the most challenging rework applications. The company will demonstrate some of its rework and hand soldering tools at the show.

In all process steps, the automatic Smartflow system uses the same successful and proven Ersa Selective Soldering Technology as the large Ersa VERSAFLOW systems without compromising quality and accuracy. The Smartflow 2020 selective soldering system requires less than 3 m² of space, thus fitting optimally into cell production environments. Due to its universal pallet fastening, the Smartflow can handle PCB sizes of up to 508 x 508 mm [20” x 20”]. With the Smartflow 2020, ERSA finally closes the gap from its high-end Versaflow platform to an entry level machine.
