Valor Opens New European HQ & Appoints New Country Manager for Germany

Mar 15, 2001

Valor Computerized Systems, a global leader in providing productivity software solutions to OEMs and CEMs in the electronics design and manufacturing industry, announced the opening of its new European headquarters and the appointment of Stefan Benz as Country Manager for Germany.

In his new role Stefan Benz is responsible for sales and customer services in Germany, for Valor's PCB DFM physical verification and CAM solutions. Benz joins Valor with over 10 years sales and management experience in the electronics design automation (EDA) industry, more recently at Cadence as the senior account manager for PCB systems in Central Europe. Prior to Cadence, he worked in both technical AE and account manager positions at Mentor Graphics.

Uri Lotan, President of Valor Computerized Systems N.V. said, "In Europe, our expanding customer base, coupled with our premiere leadership position in the electronics design and manufacturing markets creates a solid foundation for future business growth. Therefore Stefan's experience and extensive knowledge of the German electronics market makes him a valuable asset to our European sales organisation."

As the European organisation increases, Valor has recently moved its headquarters to spacious new offices on a hi-tech business park, close to Brussels airport. These larger premises are home to Valor's sales management and customer service teams supporting Valor customers throughout Europe, and also provide room for planned future investments in this region.
