Sep 21, 2011 KVM4S/EUROPE-SMT, a leading global supplier of SMT production solutions, announces that it has sold X-Treme Series’ Auto Dry Cabinet to the Polish division of electronics manufacturer Flextronics.
KVM4S/EUROPE-SMT has distributed X-Tremes Climate Chambers in Europe since 2008. “EMT X-Treme dry storage cabinets have an excellent reputation throughout Europe,” explains Jasper van Meerten, CEO of KVMS. “We have supplied these products to all major corporations that look for high-reliability storage solutions, including Flextronics, Philips and Thales.”
The X-Treme Series specializes in high-tech auto dry cabinets for dehumidification and storage of high-sensitivity devices. The cabinets reach a temperature set range from 20°-60°C, and a humidity set range from 1-50% Rh. Additional features include a built-in data logger with 4 MB memory and USB communication to PCs, which allow online storage of up to 127,000 records. The microcontroller not only shows fault monitoring, but also corrects eventual errors, providing a fail-safe action. The X-Treme Series is considered one of the leading developers of climate chambers within Europe.
