Teaching students how to build components for airplanes, robots and medical devices is serious business, and that is why Inovar has invested in the new Training Lab.
The new lab is capable of facilitating technical training for the assembly of sensitive electronic articles. Additionally, it is equipped with all of the workstation equipment needed to simulate a production environment in a training environment.
“With this lab and its leading-edge equipment, Inovar now is capable of delivering world-class training to our employees. This will enable them to be more successful at building a high-quality product for our customers and their life/mission critical applications,” said Tom Carlin, President of Inovar, Inc. “All of our 400+ employees deserve quality training and this Lab will allow us to perform this training in-house with our equipment.”
The new Training Lab opened for business in early July 2011 and already has housed more than100 employee hours of training. The sessions conducted have included a variety of topics (e.g. proper use and care of microscopes, inspection methodologies, and J-STD-001 Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) training), with many more to come.
