May 13, 2015 — Baltimore, MD - Microtek Laboratories’ Linthicum Heights facility receives its ILAC/A2LA ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation for Electrical Test Scope (Certificate #3342.03) and Mechanical Test Scope (Certificate 3343.04) effective April 16, 2015.
“In addition to obtaining this A2LA ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation, Microtek Laboratories’ Linthicum Heights facility also received a sub-license agreement allowing the usage of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) Combined MRA Mark. This agreement provides Microtek Laboratories the additional benefit of removing barriers associated with test requirements from customers in foreign countries and provides greater recognition of our Scope of Accreditation to companies internationally utilizing Microtek Laboratories test and inspection services worldwide”, stated Robert Jackson, Director of Quality at Microtek Laboratories, adding, “in response to increased test program requests from the Automotive, Aerospace, Defense and Telecommunications industries, this accreditation of our Baltimore/Washington D.C. region facility will provide additional testing resources in support of these growing markets and our increasing customer base in Europe, Canada, Mexico, South America and Asia.”
This current certification provides Microtek Laboratories-East (Baltimore/Linthicum Heights) with Accreditation through May 31, 2017 2016.
