Isola Expands Production of GETEK Materials in Germany to Support European OEMs

Feb 18, 2014

Shortened lead times on GETEK accelerates the manufacturing cycle for advanced printed circuit boards.

Isola Group S.à r.l., a market leader in dielectric materials used to fabricate advanced multilayer printed circuit boards, announced today that GETEK® laminates and prepegs are now in production at its facility in Düren, Germany, which will shorten lead times to Isola’s European customers. GETEK materials provide the low-dielectric constant and low-dissipation factors  demanded by high-speed, low-loss printed circuit board designs and applications, while providing superior thermal performance and high reliability based on the system’s 180°C glass transition temperature (Tg).

"Isola is committed to continual improvement in servicing printed circuit board fabricators around the world. The addition of GETEK production  in our German facility will provide  faster delivery times for the European market,” stated Karl Stollenwerk, President of Isola Europe and Managing Director of Isola GmbH, Germany.

Isola Group S.á r.l, headquartered in Chandler, Arizona, is a global material sciences company focused on designing, developing, manufacturing, and marketing copper-clad laminates and dielectric prepregs used to fabricate advanced multi-layer printed circuit boards. The company’s high-performance materials are used in sophisticated electronic applications in the communications infrastructure, computing/networking, military, medical, aerospace and automotive industries.
