DIVSYS Flying High After IPC Apex

Apr 29, 2011

After the 2011 IPC APEX show in Las Vegas, DIVSYS members were ecstatic over the interest in PC Boards Without The Risk, "Green Light" Product Acceptance Testing, receiving two service awards (Technology and Quality), being invited to speak at the Women In Electronics Breakfast, and introducing General Motors Components Holding Group(GMCH)to our customers.

DIVSYS coined the term, "Green Light" to emphasize the go/no-go simplicity of Product Assurance Testing that DIVSYS performs on all board lots that it sells. After visual inspection, mechanical inspection/test, cross-section, delamination test, cleanliness and electrical test, DIVSYS is able to determine if the boards will be shipped to the customer (Green Light), or sent back to the fabricator (Red Light). DIVSYS only supplies its customers with boards that are guaranteed to meet or exceed their specifications. If assistance is needed in evaluation of the proper material, finish, stack-up or dimensioning, DIVSYS steps in to assist the customer in making the best selection for their application. Having the reputation as a "Problem Solver" has given DIVSYS the opportunity to work with customers in a wide variety of fields, from biomedical projects to highly classified military applications.

After winning two of this years’ Circuits Assembly Service Excellence Awards (Quality and Technology), DIVSYS members are honored and humbled by the trust and confidence exhibited by their customers in the surveys for the coveted awards. Such an award is coveted because it is the voice of the customer, reaffirming their relationship with their supplier.

After giving a speech on her experience as a woman in the electronics industry at the Women in Electronics Breakfast at the APEX show, Tammie Fish, Managing Member of DIVSYS was overwhelmed by the support and encouragement of the closely knit group of professional women she was able to meet. "The industry is 'ripe' for women to excel in electronics and contribute their expertise in what was a traditionally male-dominated niche," noted Tammie.

Having Tim Guse from General Motors Component Holdings(GMCH) join the DIVSYS members in their booth was a tremendous opportunity to introduce GMCH to customers in industries other than automotive. Having the potential to add a Quick-turn Prototype and volume option for ceramic boards from a world leader to the offerings from DIVSYS is an exciting new mix for a printed circuit board supplier.

Leading the printed circuit board industry by providing customers with access to experts with many decades of experience (each) in the fabrication and assembly of PC boards is how DIVSYS International, LLC differentiates itself in the marketplace.

DIVSYS International, LLC., is a woman-owned PC Board Sales and Product Assurance Company. Having the in-house (Indianapolis, IN) analytical laboratory to perform product assurance testing (Green Light) on boards before they are shipped to the customer and performing the front-end engineering review of customer files guarantees that the boards will meet or exceed the customer specifications.
