Jun 28, 2012

Zollner Elektronik AG, a leading global electronics manufacturing & engineering services (EMS) company, and its USA division Zollner Electronics Inc. announced today that its Milpitas, CA-based manufacturing & NPI center was notified by the United States Department of State’s Office of Defense Trade Controls & Compliance (CRD) approving the Milpitas facility for ITAR-related manufacturing & development programs.

ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) is a series of US Government regulations controlling the manufacture and export of defense-related articles or technologies.

Broadening our support to fulfill our customers’ needs is the charter of our US operations. We are pleased with the addition of the ITAR certification to support the design and manufacture of defense and security sensitive technologies in Milpitas,” commented John Burke, COO & General Manager.
