Panasonic: Total Solutions Beyond SMT at SMTAI 2015

Sep 23, 2015

Rolling Meadows, IL (September 23, 2015) – Panasonic Factory Solutions Company of America debuts “Total Solutions beyond SMT” at SMTA International on September 29-30 in Rosemont, Illinois. Panasonic is also proud to support our industry as the show’s Premium Platinum Sponsor.

Premiering in booth 213, Panasonic will highlight the company’s evolution to “Total Solutions beyond SMT”—a continuation from its “Any Mix Any Volume” theme. According to Mark Ragard, GM of Electronics Assembly Sales, “We’ve grown from providing product-based solutions to system-based solutions using a holistic approach. The success of our Certified Technology Program proves we can provide the ideal production solution to customers by combining our equipment, software, and expertise with complementary third-party technologies to satisfy customer requirements and exceed their expectations.” The Panasonic booth will highlight the Inovaxe InoAuto intelligent reel management system as well as other productivity-enhancing solutions.

The company’s latest screen printer (SPG), placement machine (AM100), and PanaCIM® Enterprise Edition MES (Manufacturing Execution System) software will be demonstrated, further highlighting Panasonic’s ability to adapt production levels to line capacity, integrate new software as dictated, and satisfy the needs of single-line facilities to multinational corporations. In addition, award-winning PanaCIM Maintenance with Augmented Reality will be featured. An interactive, immersive and effective solution, it provides constant communication of asset maintenance-related information to machine technicians when and where it’s needed regardless of what equipment is installed.
