Barry Industries Introduces Ultra Broadband DC-60GHz Chip Termination for Wireless Backhaul Apps

Mar 21, 2016

Barry Industries announces the introduction of an ultra-broadband, DC to 60GHz chip termination for microwave applications. The uniquely designed TV0404FA-50R0JN-91 has been third-party tested to show a typical return loss of 18.5dB or better over a DC to 60GHz bandwidth.

Barry Industries is an ISO9001:2008 certified, ITAR registered company, and a well-known supplier of highest-quality thick film chip resistors, terminations, attenuators, and high temperature co-fired ceramic (HTCC) packaging to the defense, medical and communications industries.

The TV0404FA-50R0JN-91 is a compact, 0404 (1.016 x 1.016mm) size chip constructed of robust thick film on alumina with a wire-bondable input pad and epoxy or solderable ground. This 50 ohm impedance device is RoHS/REACH compliant and is rated at 250mW on a 100°C mounting surface temperature. The TV0404FA-50R0JN-91 is available in bulk or tape and reel packaging for high-speed pick and place assembly.

Data sheet, outline drawings and full documentation for the TV0404FA-50R0JN-91 testing procedure are available on the Barry web site, www.barryind.com. Samples from stock and assembled test fixtures of the TV0404FA-50R0JN-91 can also be obtained via the web site.

With its ultra-broadband performance, stable 50Ω resistor element and 1.27:1 Max VSWR, the TV0404FA-50R0JN-91 is ideal for applications such as wireless point-to-point backhaul.

Since 1977, Barry Industries, an ISO9001:2008 certified, ITAR registered company, has been supplying the defense, medical and communications industries with highest quality thick film chip resistors, terminations, attenuators high temperature co-fired ceramic (HTCC) packaging.
