Barry Industries Introduces 800W Termination with 1.12:1 VSWR for Basestation, Broadcast and Radar Applications

Dec 10, 2013

Barry Industries, an ISO9001:2008 certified, ITAR registered manufacturer of high quality thick film resistors, terminations, attenuators and high temperature co-fired ceramic (HTCC) packaging, introduces a RoHS compliant flange mount termination which dissipates 800W with minimal return loss over a DC to 1GHz bandwidth.

The thick film on Aluminum Nitride (AlN) TA50R0-800-15X termination, with its internally matched circuit architecture, has 25dB or better return loss from DC to 1GHz. Four-hole flange and input tab are constructed of robust nickel-plated copper. Overall footprint is 1.90” x 1.04”.

With its 800W power rating, low VSWR and stable 50Ω resistor element, the TA50R0-800-15X is ideal for crucial applications such as Mobile Radio Basestation, Broadcast and Phased-Array Radar.

Additionally, Barry offers many other high-power flange mount terminations with power ratings from 10W to 5000W in numerous configurations.

Further information and samples of the TA50R0-800-15X can be obtained by visiting Barry Industries’ website at www.barryind.com or by contacting the factory at 60 Walton Street Attleboro, MA USA, Tel. 508-226-3350, e-mail: sales@barryind.com.
