ARIES EXPANDS WEB SITE TO INCLUDE �CHECK STOCK AVAILABILITY� FEATURE

Frenchtown, NJ, August 2001 � Aries Electronics, a leader in standard and custom interconnection and packaging technology, has expanded its web site to include an automated inventory availability feature that enables customers to check the availability of stock at all participating Aries distributors, as well as at the company�s own factory. Easily accessible from the home page, http://www.arieselec.com, (or any other Aries web page) the �Check Stock� feature reduces the amount of time it takes to locate, order and receive parts. By simply typing in an Aries part number, customers will receive a list of distributors with that item in stock, as well as the quantity in stock and date of last inventory update. Contact information on each distributor can be obtained by clicking on the name of the participating distributor.

With one more mouse click, the customer can then either request a quote (RFQ) or place an order directly with the distributor via e-mail. This addition to Aries� site also allows the user to specify their preferred method of communication for future correspondence.
