Aqueous Technologies Wins Its 30th Industry Award in Five Years

Apr 15, 2009

April 2009 Aqueous Technologies is North America's leading manufacturer of automatic defluxing systems and has been since 1992. Headquartered in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., Aqueous Technologies manufactures both batch-format and inline aqueous cleaning/de-fluxing systems. The company also manufactures ultrasonic and spray-in-air stencil cleaning systems, PCB and stencil cleaning chemistries, wastewater evaporators, and the Zero-Ion G3 ionic contamination (cleanliness) tester.

Since 2004, Aqueous Technologies has been collecting an impressive amount of industry awards. This past APEX exhibition, which took place at the end of March into early April in Las Vegas, has the honor of being the venue where Aqueous earned its 30th award. This one was an SMT VISION Award in the category of Cleaning Equipment for Aqueous Technologies' Microjet FC Inline Defluxing System.

The other 29 awards are spread between additional VISION Awards, SMT China VISION Awards, Advanced Packaging Awards, Global Technology Awards, EM Asia Innovation Awards and an NPI Award, most in the categories of cleaning equipment, environmentally friendly products/services cleaning materials, and/or testing.

Aqueous Technologies' talented staff has worked tirelessly to set our company apart from our competition. Aqueous Technologies is the only company that specializes solely in defluxing and cleanliness testing equipment. Thirty awards in five years confirm that our products are truly Best-in Class. We will continue to innovate and produce the industry's most effective, reliable, and most popular defluxing and cleanliness testing products, said Mike Konrad, President and CEO of Aqueous Technologies.

Aqueous Technologies' engineering department has been working overtime to create innovative and unique solutions to conventional cleaning challenges. As the industry and its cleaning needs continue to change, so must defluxing technology. With higher lead-free reflow temperatures, increased board densities, lower standoff heights and higher reliability expectations, defluxing technology must continue to adapt.Aqueous Technologies will continue its endeavor to produce technically relevant high-performance defluxing products for the next generation of cleaning challenges and no doubt will continue picking up well-deserved industry awards to add to its trophy case!
