Showcasing its products at SMT 2013 trade fair in Nuremberg, AdoptSMT Europe will continue to focus on its fast growing second core segment of spare parts, tools and consumables offering its customers new products and innovative solutions.
Supply of spare parts, integration of new innovative products into our proven portfolio and tracking down of premium retrofit parts, consumables and tools through our broadened net of suppliers in Europe, the United States, and Asia are the prime emphasis of the AdoptSMT Group. This new core segment is being constantly and successfully expanded to complement the traditional business of machine and feeder sales. AdoptSMT’s customers can now choose from more than 6,500 articles, including our aptly called premium parts. These parts are sourced from alternate suppliers, which have been qualified through a dedicated selection processes to comply with AdoptSMT’s high level quality requirements.
Our new Swiss office, AdoptSMT Swiss AG, the sixth enterprise within the AdoptSMT Group, now serves many innovative Swiss high tech firms. Due to their long-term expert experience Christian Metzger and Muharem (Harry) Dizdar are well known throughout the Swiss SMT industry and will be happy to discuss any customer needs at our booth.
Cooperation with Hover-Davis intensified
Hover-Davis, a leading solution provider for presentation of SMT components for placement is now cooperating even closer with AdoptSMT Europe: the sales region has been expanded to include Austria and Switzerland. The partnership has been established in 2006 and now responsibility for sales, support and distribution has been fully handed over to AdoptSMT’s offices in Grödig and Teufen (Switzerland). Customers in Austria and Switzerland can now purchase Hover-Davis tape feeders and label feeders directly from AdoptSMT. So AdoptSMT is now capable to perfectly source the replacement market for SiPlace® systems.

AdoptSMT has won an important partner in the approach to broaden the offerings of premium consumables. Nortec’s high quality polyimide (high temperature) labels for automatic application fit perfectly with AdoptSMT’s sales and service of Hover-Davis label feeders and experience with pre-owned label applicators from manufacturers like CAB or Asys. Nortec is a leading supplier of ID solutions for harsh environments, with an approach of innovation in ID management, offering total solutions for the whole ID process.
Newly available are masking dots and masking labels, which can be automatically applied. High-temperature masking dots can be applied for wave soldering and the use of the new masking labels for conformal coating will produce smooth boundaries after peeling off. Suitable colour ribbons for thermal transfer printers are also available.
