Aug 07, 2008 The Vertex Series-CT is a high-resolution Computed Tomography System that is designed and dedicated to providing the accuracy and reliability required to analyze the inner structure of any specimen. System components have been carefully chosen to provide the market with a low-maintenance system.
The Vertex Series-CT can be tailored to any application through its flexible configuration capabilities. Therefore, a range of X-Ray tubes (sealed and open), detectors, motion hardware and mechanical components are available.
The system software is provided through cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute. It offers a very intuitive operator interface. It also provides functionality to have the system set up for a component scan in a very short time. It offers one of the fastest reconstruction engines on the market. The adaptive computing network can be optimized for economics, speed and reconstruction volume. Additional features are optionally available such as various artifact reduction modules, 3-D data modeling, virtual detector enlargement, STL data generation and 3-D defect detection modules.
The Vertex Series-CT will be available in different sizes. This model has a very compact design and requires only 54 x 36" of floor space. The use of sealed X-Ray tubes minimizes the maintenance efforts and the whole system is designed to be maintenance and service friendly.
