Strategic Partnership Announced for Process Management Work Instruction Software

Everett Charles Technologies, (ECT), a Dover Company and a leader in the development of advanced technology board test products, announced that ECT has finalized a strategic partnership with ScanCAD International of Littleton, CO, USA, a global supplier of process management tools. This partnership provides for ScanCAD International to exclusively distribute and support the ProWorks process management work instruction software family of products globally within the electronics industry.

The ProWorks Work Instruction Software (WIS) products combine a dynamic blend of process management, work instruction and Manufacturing Execution Software (MES) that allows for the dissemination and collection of Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) on the shop floor. These products fit nicely with ScanCAD’s family of process management tools”, stated Mark Swart, Vice President of Corporate Research & Development, ECT.

This revolutionary technology integration will transform manufacturing everywhere. Users find it easy, cost effective, and light years ahead of their current solutions. The timing of the ECT and ScanCAD partnership is perfect for a market intercept of the emerging WIS Market. As regulatory requirements continue to increase, the Global roll-out of the ProWorks WIS products will enable more people to share more information in a controlled real-time environment, significantly increasing productivity”, stated Bill Loving, President, ScanCAD International.

Everett Charles Technologies, 'ECT', is a leader in the development of advanced technology board test products holding over 100 patents. A manufacturing powerhouse, ECT has broadened its business through acquisition and managed growth to include international manufacturing of capital equipment (bare board test systems and flying probe systems), bare and loaded board fixturing and test services, and most recently, equipment, sockets and performance boards for semiconductor test operations. In November 1996 ECT became a subsidiary of Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV ).

Headquartered in Littleton, Colorado and with offices in Michigan and Italy, ScanCAD International utilizes an extensive network of local distributors, manufacturer representatives and OEM channels to support its customer base.
