Mr. Black has worked in the electronic production field since 1975, having co-founded three companies during his career. He retired as President and CEO of Juki Automation Systems in 2018. Black served eight years as a Member of the IPC Board of Directors and is a recipient of the IPC President’s Award for service to the organization. He was an original member of the SMTA and has also been a member of SEMI. Black also was the only non-Japanese in its 82-year history to hold the position of Executive Operating Officer of Juki Corporation in Tokyo. He has written and lectured extensively in the field of electronics manufacturing.
