New SIPLACE SX placement system

New SIPLACE SX placement system

The SIPLACE Team will showcase their latest "Capacity on Demand" concept by performing a live gantry upgrade demonstration with their new SIPLACE SX placement machine at APEX in Booth #2011. Visitors will be drawn to the new and unique features of the SIPLACE SX whereby exchangeable gantries can be installed or uninstalled in a matter of minutes. Visitors will also be pleasantly surprised to see the many new cost-saving business models now available resulting from the SIPLACE SX full gantry modularity design and "Capacity on Demand" concept.

New SIPLACE SX

With the new SIPLACE SX placement performance can be added to a line without influencing feeder capacity or line layout. Capacity can also be moved from one line to another, and feeder capacity can be added without the cost of adding an entire new machine. Hence, users can now increase or decrease the placement capacity of their SMT lines and shift performance between lines in accordance with their specific requirements.

SIPLACE MultiStar (Collect & Pick & Place) Head

But that’s not all – The SIPLACE SX powered by the SIPLACE MultiStar (Collect & Pick & Place) head can cover the entire component spectrum using only one placement head in three different placement modes eliminating the need for head changes and line reconfigurations. The SIPLACE MultiStar enables manufacturers to simplify line setup and programming and ensures optimal line balancing for higher productivity and lower operational costs.

Additionally, the SIPLACE SX provides for 120-8mm feeders in just 1.5 meters of line space, and comes equipped with a powerful machine software to make both NPI and higher volume production run more efficiently.

This innovative SX placement platform is setting new industry benchmarks in terms of performance, flexibility and cost savings.

"Right First Time Manufacturing" with SIPLACE Offline Software

The SIPLACE Team will be demonstrating their complete set of offline software tools that ensure ‘Right First Time Manufacturing’. With SIPLACE Programming tools operators have the ability to make a virtual build of a customer board offline so discrepancies in CAD data can be debugged before the risk of setup and production errors occur. SIPLACE Vision Teach has the same powerful component shape recognition features as on the machine, but allows operators to do it offline. SIPLACE Offline Setup Verification ensures the correct components are always on the circuit board, but with increased time savings by performing the entire process completely offline. SIPLACE Offline tools can eliminate scrap during the NPI process and also greatly speed up changeovers and line efficiency

If you're interested in placement solutions that offer you flexibility, scalability, and real investment options – look no further!
