Nov 05, 2021 Accu-Assembly Inc. is pleased to announce that it received a 2021 Mexico Technology Award in the category of Barcoding Systems for its new Accu-Eye™II. The award was announced during a ceremony that took place Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021 during SMTA International in Minneapolis, MN.
Accu-Eye II is a machine vision system designed for reading all barcodes on panels with multiple PCBs in a single pass. In addition, the Accu-Eye II eliminates the need to change locations of PCB barcode readers when setting up new jobs on PCB production lines.
AccuEye II decreases the set-up time required for changeovers from job to job. There is no longer a need to manually adjust barcode readers during PCB job changeovers. This eliminates the time to manually adjust and test barcode scanners on PCB production lines. In addition, the Accu-Eye II can quickly read all barcodes on multi-circuit panels with no operator adjustments needed.
The AccuEye II system enables customers to eliminate barcode scanner set-up on their production line, thus increase line utilization rate and saving money. The Accu-Eye is available in a standard, 14 in wide version or a large, 20 in. wide version.
