Engent Acquires Rights to Siemens Dematic Advanced Assembly Technology Center

Atlanta, Georgia, USA April 17, 2003 � Engent, Inc. and Siemens Dematic Electronics Assembly Systems, Inc. (EAS) have signed an agreement for Engent to assume the rights to the Advanced Assembly Technology (AAT) Center contracts, equipment and personnel located in Norcross, Georgia. Additionally, Engent will become a member of the newly formed Siemens Dematic Technology Network, and the two companies will work closely together to provide advanced technology solutions to the electronics industry.

Engent is a provider of advanced technology services. The company leverages its world-class facilities, highly experienced team and sophisticated client base to meet the needs of the industry. The Advanced Assembly Technology (AAT) Center was originally founded as a part of Siemens Dematic EAS in January 2001 and has been very successful over the past 18 months. Engent provides solutions to clients that shorten a product�s time-to-market and enable products to be manufactured at high volumes, allowing a concept to be quickly commercialized. Engent�s services are comprised of research, development, and manufacturing services for the electronics industry.
