Connector Range has Board-to-cable Options Covered

The ODU Flakafix 2.54mm grid IDC board-to-cable connector can now be supplied with a variety of terminations including surface mount, solder-in, press-fit and pin-in-paste to suit a wide range of applications.

Straight or right-angle forms are available from 10 to 64 way and a low-profile unit is included in the range.

Variants offer long or short locking levers, particularly suitable when using the strip as an external interface connector, and this version can also have board locks.

The product is compatible with standard SMT reflow solder procedures.

All components can be supplied in black so that pick-and-place machines with digital cameras can detect them.

Packaging options include cardboard box, tube or tape, and free sample packs are available.
