Carrier Tape Extender Description:

Carrier tape extenders are supplied with heat sealed cover tape in 95 meter (311.5 feet) lengths on 13 inch reels. They have standard sprocket holes but no formed pockets, allowing them to be used with any standard carrier tape, including punched paper. The customer can cut the tape to any length they need for any tape feeder application they choose. All that is needed is a reliable tape splice (sold separately by Smart Splice) to secure any length extender to pocket one of the carrier tape being loaded into the tape feeder. These extenders are especially useful for Mycronic (Mydata) plow type tape feeders, but can be used for any tape feeder on the market. These extenders are available in all tape widths from 8-72mm and larger on request.
