The World’s First Automated Concentration Measurement System For Electronics Cleaning Processes

The ZESTRON® EYE consists of a sensor and a controller that can be fully integrated with commonly used cleaning machine types and manufacturers. Specifically designed for ZESTRON cleaning agents, the unique and innovative sensing technology employed accurately measures the wash bath concentration irrespective of flux loading with the value digitally displayed on the controller in real time.

ZESTRON® EYE in use at Airbus

For PCBA manufacturing Airbus Toulouse has relied on the ZESTRON ® EYE to automatically monitor the cleaning bath concentration for more than one year.

Since using the ZESTRON ® EYE, Airbus has been able to clearly increase process transparency.

For instance, the measurement system displays in real-time whether the cleaning bath is within the previously defined concentration ranges or not and can indicate the need to adjust the amount of cleaning agent or DI water.
Moreover, the ZESTRON ® EYE fulfills another important requirement from Airbus with regard to high quality standards as well as process audits. It allows complete traceability of the process parameters through continuous data recording.
