SUPERIOR VISION & X-RAY 2000 Advanced Inspection of Your Printed Wiring Assemblies (PWA) Including Ball Grid Array (BGA) and Other Hidden Features Photon Dynamics Superior Vision & X-ray (SVX) 2000 completely inspects PWAs inside and out. Using advanced optics, the SVX-2000 not only checks for component and solder joint defects, but also leverages its extraordinary X-ray vision capabilities to inspect hidden solder joints such as ball grid arrays(BGAs) only visible via X-ray. This integrated vision and X-ray system reduces floor space requirements and provides a more complete PWA inspection solution � enabling you to detect more defects to achieve higher yields, improved quality, and increased product throughput. Highest Coverage by Combining Tests Standard Automated Optical Inspection (AOI)systems are limited to locating only visible defects. By combining the power of X-ray inspection with AOI, users have the ability to locate hidden and visible defects. The result is the highest possible coverage, while reducing the system footprint. Integrated Product Compatibility Any PWA that has been set up to run on an SV-7500 system can immediately be inspected by the SVX-2000 .
