Job Description: |
Trantronics, Inc. A well-established electronics assembly company who specializes in outstanding customer services and on time delivery is seeking a motivated hardworking individual to john our team at the Hunting Beach location.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Coordinate various groups, including customers, support staff and technical staff
-
Conduct engineering evaluations, statistical analysis and corrective actions supporting process improvement efforts
-
Monitor and continuously improve the quality of manufacturing processes
-
Support continuous process improvement projects
-
Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, work instructions and processes
-
Create and validate manufacturing processes, conduct design of experiments, conduct defect and failure analyses and prepare required reports
-
Evaluate, troubleshoot and problem-solve SMT & wave solderer profiles, production equipment, fixtures, tools, materials, chemicals and processes
-
Interface with Customers, Production and Quality teams
-
Provide technical expertise to Production team
-
Provide annual cost reduction opportunities for the company as well as customers
-
Develop SMT key performance indicators for the factory improvement model
-
Requirements:
-
Minimum BSEE or BSME required and 3 or more year’s experience in an electronics manufacturing environment; knowledge in medical and military products is a major plus.

Able to work with a variety of clients and products; understanding of contract manufacturing required
-
Wave soldering process engineering experience and SMT, through-hole and box-build manufacturing experienced
-
Knowledgeable in IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, AS9100, ISO 13485 and MIL standards
-
Experienced in assembly process evaluation, control and validation, IQ, OQ, FMEA, AOI, Selective Solder, BGA and first article process controls
-
Proficient at preparing work instructions, assembly & test procedures, stenciling, tooling and fixturing specifications
-
Experience working with PCB Fabrication and PCBA Manufacturing providing engineering support for manufacturability, DFA, DFM and DFT
-
Expertise on mechanical and electronic assembly processes and equipment, functional testing, process control analysis and continuous process improvement techniques
-
Knowledge of ANSI, IPC 600/610 acceptance criteria and interpreting mechanical and PCBA documentation
-
Excellent communication skills, (written, and verbal)
-
Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate
-
Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment.
