SMT Technician

This position requires someone who is able to work in a flexible atmosphere and who has the ability to work in a team environment. Good communcation skils, attention to details, mechanically inlclined, and good computer skills are essential. Responsibilities will include: - Operating automated SMT Pick & Place machines performing routine set-up, operation and adjustments - Operating other production equipments such as screen printers and reflow oven - Experience in programming SMT machines a BIG PLUS (our machines are Assembleon/Philips Gemline Series - Topaz, Topaz X, and Sapphire) To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following qualifications: - Education: Minimum High School diploma Associate degree in Elecronics a BIG plus - Preference: Candidates with 2 years experience in operation of SMT machines, knowledge of production processes using SMT equipment and knowledge of IPC electronic components identification. - Ability to use metric measuring systems - Excellent work habits including good attendance. - Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, excellent manual dexterity and vision, and frequently lifts 25-40 pounds. - Must be willing and able to work irregular hours, weekends if needed, overtime, and night shift when the need arises.
