Senior Electrical Engineer Base Salary: $85-120K Full Benefits Bonus-Yes Relocation Assistance: Yes Interview Travel: NO * 5-7 years experience * Bachelors Degree *Travel: Occasionally Provide electrical engineering support to Operations, Development, Capitol Projects and other internal organizations. Provide electrical engineering oversight for major programs and tasks from program development and rollout through execution. 1. Responds to unplanned plant outages, assisting plant staff with root cause determination and corrective action implementation. Determines extent of concern to the operating fleet and makes corrective and preventive action recommendations on a technical, schedule and cost basis. 2. Provide a leadership role in the development and resolution of major technical issues effecting safety, reliability, availability, and efficient plant/fleet operations. Prepare comprehensive technical bulletins for distribution to the operating fleet. 3. Develops standards to optimize plant electrical systems and equipment operation. 4. Support capitol projects via the preparation of technical specifications, contracting documentation, and scope of work. 5. Owner's Engineer responsibility while interfacing with OEM's, ISO's, local utilities, Architectural Engineering (A/E) firms, contractors, and authorities having jurisdiction. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1. Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET accredited university. 2. A minimum of five years experience in power generation engineering with strong technical leadership skills with regard to project implementation, root cause analysis, system troubleshooting, and utility interfacing. 3. Proficient with electrical system protection analysis. 4. Experience with the application of industry codes and standards as related to electrical equipment and plant systems. 5. Design experience with new or retrofit power projects preferred. 6. Professional Electrical Engineering registration and license preferred. 7. Superior verbal and written communication skills. 8. Minimum computer literacy requirements: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
