Engineering Manager

Provide leadership to the engineering staff and manage, initiation and completion of all engineering deliverables. Deal with customers, business associates, program managers, manufacturing, planning, marketing and purchasing. Requires extensive knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly processes and related technology, documentation and traceability requirements, manufacturing equipement, test and verification methods, as well as proposal development and overall work breakdown. It will require review of customer technical data, specifications, drawings, tooling requirements, staff planning/reductions, facilities requirements and equipment. Analysis and support of production yield data. Minimum of 8 to 10 yrs. electro-mechanical manufacturing experience managing engineering fuctions in a commercial/defense related industry with COMSEC military clearance. An MS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering as well as certification from the Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) is perferred.
